Russian military personnel on the front lines are using a robotic logistical support platform, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported. It is designed to transport food and ammunition.
The robotic platform is a remote-controlled trolley with a load capacity of up to 160 kg and permanent all-wheel drive.
The platform is controlled by an operator using a standard remote control and a reconnaissance drone, through which he monitors the direction of the trolley's movement. The complex is designed to transport food, supplies, and ammunition, and, if necessary, can be used to evacuate wounded soldiers.
Soldiers reported that the trolley is very easy to operate and can be compared to a radio-controlled car. The installed battery lasts for approximately 10 hours of continuous operation.
It has very high cross-country capability, as each wheel has its own motor, meaning it has permanent all-wheel drive and independent suspension. It has proven itself in harsh conditions: explosion, rain, mud, snow, it went everywhere, there were no problems with it.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that the Osoed hunter drone was developed in Russia. The new product is equipped with a special mechanism that fires a net from a distance of several meters, covering enemy equipment.
