The Russian icebreaker "Evpatiy Kolovrat" of project 21180M has joined the Navy. The naval flag was raised on the ship in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.
In Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, on the newest ice-class ship "Evpatiy Kolovrat" and on the raid boat RK-2188 of the auxiliary vessel detachment of troops and forces in the North-East, the naval flag was raised, and it was accepted into the Navy.
The new icebreaker has passed a full cycle of tests, and specialists have checked the ship's seaworthiness, its aeronautical equipment, maneuverability, and all ship systems.
This multifunctional ice-class ship will perform the tasks of patrolling, logistical support, and year-round escorting of Navy ships in the near Arctic zone.

Earlier www1.ru reported that the nuclear submarine missile carrier "Karelia" will complete repairs in 2025. The boat will remain in the Russian Navy until 2038.
