Serial production of the MiS-35 strike and reconnaissance hexacopter has started in Russia. The device can conduct reconnaissance and drop ammunition, and it has already been tested in real combat operations.
The chief designer of the "MiS" design bureau noted that the drone was made according to the hexacopter scheme and equipped with six electric propeller-motor units.
We immediately created this drone from scratch to solve a wide range of tasks. The result is a drone that is somewhere in size between the Mavic and the "Baba Yaga". This gives us less visibility - visual, thermal and noise. It is smaller than the "Baba Yaga", but at the same time more lifting than the Mavic.
Military expert Yuri Lyamin explained that drones of this class usually have large losses in battles due to their demand in a wide range of tasks.
They usually hang or operate on the front line, fly into the enemy's rear, so they are often shot down. For this reason, many different devices are needed. 4.5 kg is a fairly common payload. Such a drone can be used for a variety of purposes.

- Combat radius of a hexacopter with a load of 3.5 kg - 9 km
- Maximum payload - 4.5 kg
- Flight duration in reconnaissance mode - up to 45 km
- Maximum speed - up to 63 km/h
Earlier www1.ru reported that Russian military personnel were armed with "Drone Guns" to combat enemy drones. The effective firing range is up to 40 meters.
