JSC "Russian Railways" (RZD) has enabled ticket buyers through their website to view photos of the interior of the cars. The feature will soon appear in the application.
The images correspond to the declared type of car (seating, general, reserved seat, compartment, SV, soft), and are not images of seats in each specific car. The company clarified that the function currently only works on a few routes.
For the convenience of users, the system has been improved on the ticket.rzd.ru portal, now passengers will be able to see a selection of photos of different types of cars in each train in the train profiles.
Now you can get acquainted with the interior of train No. 104 "Moscow - Adler", No. 1/2 "Moscow - Kazan", No. 9/10 "Moscow - Saratov", as well as some interregional "Lastochka" trains and other trains.
Russian Railways plans to add photo profiles for all trains in the near future.
