PIK MTKs provide stable communication both on the march and in field command posts, and during exercises, even in environments with increased signal interference. They are on the balance sheets of all Russian military districts, and recently, according to the Ministry of Defense, MTKs were tested at a training ground in the Rostov region during a field exercise.
Military communicators fulfilled the standards for engineering equipment and camouflage of the command post, deployment of hardware stations and communication complexes in unprepared terrain, organized connection to a stationary communication center via wired and radio relay lines, radio frequency and satellite channels, and provided a secure video conference channel between the field command post and the daily control point of the unit.
Mobile MTKs are based on multi-axle KAMAZ-5350 high- проходимости vehicles. They are designed to provide exchange of video and audio content by type of information at a high level.
The mobile complex includes:
- network and satellite equipment to ensure stable communication;
- means of encrypting transmitted and received information;
- life support systems.
If necessary, they can also operate independently, outside the communication center.
