The High-Precision Complexes holding (part of Rostec) has handed over the first batch of TM-140 tracked all-terrain vehicles to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia. The vehicles are designed to operate in the Far North — in the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug. By the end of 2024, the manufacturer will send several more batches of all-terrain vehicles to the customer.
Rostec noted that such vehicles have repeatedly proven themselves in action. Tests have confirmed the high cross-country ability of the TM-140, as well as the efficiency and reliability of operation at low temperatures.
Special equipment is already used by dozens of Russian customers – oil and gas processing companies, municipal service enterprises and geological exploration. In the spring, the vehicles helped residents of settlements in the Kurgan region affected by the flood.
Also, TM-140 all-terrain vehicles feature a modular design. This allows you to quickly adapt all-terrain vehicles to solve a wide range of tasks through special equipment.
Tactical and technical characteristics of TM-140 all-terrain vehicles:
- Load capacity — up to 4 tons
- Power reserve — 550 km
- Overcome rough terrain with slopes and ascents up to 30°
Earlier www1.ru reported that a batch of the latest T-90M tanks with the Kalina fire control system arrived in the units of the Russian Armed Forces.
