The "Stupinets" missile boat of Project 12418 will be launched at the Vympel shipyard before Navy Day, which is celebrated on July 28 in 2024. However, there is no official confirmation of this information yet.
The launching ceremony of the "Stupinets" missile boat of Project 12418 will take place in the coming days. It is planned that this will happen either on the eve of Navy Day, or immediately after it.
Currently, two missile boats of Project 12418 are under construction at the Vympel shipyard in Rybinsk. Their main strike weapon is the Uran anti-ship missile system with Kh-35 missiles.
It is assumed that "Stupinets" will join the Caspian Flotilla. If necessary, it will be transferred to the waters of the Black or Azov Seas along inland waterways.
Earlier www1.ru reported that a new flight crew is being formed for the cruiser "Admiral Kuznetsov". Pilots are training over the Kola Peninsula and the Barents Sea.
