The development of the most economical LADA Vesta is in the preparation stage for production. This was announced in the press service of AvtoVAZ. We are talking about a bifuel car that can use both methane and gasoline as fuel.
The capacity of the gas cylinder will be 90 liters, it will hold 18 cubic meters of blue fuel. On gasoline and gas, the car will be able to travel a little more than 1000 kilometers. As soon as the gas in the cylinder runs out, the bifuel Vesta will automatically switch to gasoline.
Note that AvtoVAZ already has one bifuel model. We are talking about LADA Granta CNG. Gas equipment for this car is installed at the facilities of the Togliatti company "ATS-Avto".
