Specialists from the military-industrial holding company "Kingisepp Machine-Building Plant" (KMZ) have completed the supervision of installation and started commissioning tests of 4 power plants with a capacity of 630 kW for the development of the Kovykta gas condensate field. This was reported by the KMZ press service.
KMZ fulfills contracts for the supply of backup diesel power plants and the implementation of all necessary work for their launch and stable operation at facilities, strengthens business ties and partnerships with PJSC Gazprom.
The Kovykta gas condensate field, which is located in the Irkutsk region, is the resource base for the Power of Siberia gas pipeline.
The 804 km long Kovykta-Chayanda section connects the Kovykta field with the Chayandinskoye field (Yakutia). It will supply gas to the east of the country and will help fulfill the Russian Federation's obligations to supply export gas to China.
