Auto experts have compiled a selection of the most affordable pickups on the Russian new car market. Their cost is up to three million rubles. Most of those presented in the selection come from China.
The most affordable and, one might say, budget model, based on current realities, is the completely domestic UAZ "Pickup". For a new 2023 car with a 2.7-liter engine with a capacity of 150 horsepower and a manual gearbox, you will have to pay 1 million 605 thousand rubles. If you want to drive in comfort in the summer, you will have to pay extra for air conditioning in such a car.
The Chinese Sollers ST6 (JAC T6), which is assembled by the company "Sollers", is available for 2 million 400 thousand rubles. The car also has a manual gearbox, a two-liter 176-horsepower gasoline engine. Air conditioning is standard, the front seats are heated, and driver and passenger airbags are available.
If you add 200 thousand rubles, you can look towards the AmberTruck Work, which is assembled at Avtotor. This "Chinese" has a 2.5-liter diesel engine with a capacity of 128 horsepower. The gearbox is also a manual.
JAC T8 with mechanics and a two-liter engine (190 horsepower) will cost 2.85 million rubles.
The most expensive pickup in the selection is the Great Wall Poer Kingkong. It can be bought with a discount for 2 million 900 thousand rubles. For this price, the car is available with two types of engine, either with a two-liter gasoline engine with a capacity of 190 horsepower, or with a two-liter diesel engine with a capacity of 150 horsepower. The gearbox is only manual.
