В интересах братского народа: белорусские поезда получат двигатели М756Б-1Д от KMZ

Diesel engines will be installed on DR1 trains

Specialists from the "Kingisepp Machine-Building Plant" military-industrial holding (KMZ) will provide Belarus with M756B-1D diesel engines. The holding won the tender for the manufacture and supply of equipment for UP "Belarusian Railway".

The contract amount exceeded 200 million rubles.

KMZ has mastered the full cycle of production of M756B-1D diesels and components for them.

The M756 diesel engine with a capacity of 736 kW is installed on the serial DR1 train, designed for suburban passenger transportation. Such trains were produced until the seventies at the Riga Carriage Works. In total, 52 trains were built.
