The coverage area of the SberMobile operator will cover the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol. This will happen before the end of 2024.
The service will appear in Crimea thanks to cooperation with the telecom operator K-telecom LLC (operating under the Win mobile brand). SberMobile will be the first virtual operator (providing services under its own brand but using third-party physical infrastructure) on the Crimean Peninsula. It will operate on the capacities of three companies - Tele2, K-telecom, and MegaFon.
We strive to ensure that residents of all regions of Russia can use SberMobile. Our cooperation with various telecom operators allows us to confidently move towards this goal. Win mobile is a reliable partner that will help us offer advanced digital solutions to guests and residents of the peninsula, which will make life in the republic more comfortable.
It is worth noting that in June of this year, the telecom operator Tele2 (owned by Rostelecom) announced its intention tocancel roaming by the fall of this year in Crimea and Sevastopol. The tariffs were planned to be brought to the all-Russian level.
