Journalists have published statistics on Aurus car sales. In the first half of 2024, 50 cars were sold: 40 Senat sedans and 10 Komendant crossovers. In general, all the cars sold were manufactured in 2023, with only 15 cars produced this year.
Premium cars are in demand among legal entities. Only two cars were bought by wealthy Russians. Experts believe that this is due to the price of the cars. For example, the Aurus Senat will cost 48 million rubles, but there is a competitor on the market for 8 million rubles — the Chinese Hongqi H9. Wealthy Russians prefer to buy it instead of the Senat model.
In April, at FSUE "NAMI" reported on the high demand for Aurus cars. Previously, they used to order one or two cars, but now the demand is measured in 10-20 units.
Earlier, at the Innoprom exhibition, a unique Aurus Senat was shown. The hydrogen car can travel about 870 kilometers on a single fill-up. The car is equipped with electric motors with a capacity of 1020 horsepower.
