Sollers will establish casting of key components for JAC turbodiesel engines. The cylinder block, cylinder head, and crankshafts will be produced in Russia.
Chinese JAC engines are assembled at the engine plant in Elabuga. They are available in two variants: 2 liters and 2.7 liters. The first engine has a power of 130 horsepower, the second – 150 horsepower. It is worth noting that the Sollers group of companies also includes the "Zavolzhsky Motor Plant". They assemble ZMZ engines there.
It is worth recalling that the Russian automaker is gradually continuing to localize the production of Chinese components. Thus, at the "Sollers Production of Transmissions" enterprise, the assembly of a six-speed manual transmission has started. It will be installed on Sollers Argo trucks.
