The unified state cloud platform "Gosoblako" will begin operating on January 1, 2025. The regulations on the service's operation were signed by the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Mishustin.
The service is designed for the secure storage of data from government departments, funds, public-law companies, and non-profit organizations. It is planned to use domestic software for the operation of "Gosoblako".
The development will help public sector structures optimize interaction. This will improve the quality of services provided.
Testing of the "Gosoblako" platform started in August 2019 and will be completed on December 31 of this year. The platform already successfully stores data and protects information from cyberattacks for 40 ministries and departments. These include the Ministry of Construction, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Transport, Rosreestr, the Social Fund of Russia, and other organizations.
