The Armed Forces of Belarus will soon receive upgraded Buk-MB anti-aircraft missile systems, which will reliably cover the country's airspace.

The key technical differences of this modification are the digital element bases of the upgraded 9S470MB combat control center and the 9A310MB self-propelled firing units with 80% hardware unit updates.

The SAM combat control center received new digital target distribution terminals between the 9A310MB self-propelled firing units, multifunctional LCD information display indicators, and new information processing terminals for the radar situation from the Kupol-M1 detection and target designation station.

The complex's combat assets include a 9S470 MB combat control center, an 80K6M radar station, six 9A310 MB self-propelled firing units, and three 9AZ9 MB launcher-loader units.

Engagement zone of approaching and non-maneuvering aircraft of the F-15 type:

• in height — from 0.015 to 25 km

• Maximum engagement zone of tactical ballistic missiles of the Lance type — 20 km

• Maximum engagement zone of anti-radar missiles of the HARM type — 20 km

Maximum engagement zone of surface targets:

• destroyer class — 25 km

• missile boat class — 18 km
