"Mikron" (part of the "Element" Group of Companies) modernized its production site of 1.5 thousand square meters for this purpose. New clean production rooms of ISO 8 class have been opened there. According to the company's press service, the new production site carries out technological operations for scribing wafers, mounting the crystal, joining aluminum conductors, and sealing microcircuits.
For this purpose, the company purchased and installed 29 units of new high-precision equipment, eight of which are of domestic production.
In the spring, we launched two new lines at the enterprise for packaging microcircuits in plastic and increasing the production of chip modules for Mir bank cards. And today, we are opening new production sites for assembling microcircuits for use in devices capable of operating in extreme operating conditions. This will allow us to meet the needs of Russian instrument-making and machine-building enterprises in microcircuits for equipment used in areas with extreme temperature changes, pressure, radiation, during deep-sea and underground works.
Earlier in March 2024, "Mikron" launched two production lines, thanks to which new Russian cases and blister tapes appeared in the manufacturer's microcircuits.
