The Kingisepp Machine-Building Plant (KMZ) has developed a device for mounting the removable part of the main technological equipment of the reactor plant — the main circulation pumping unit (MCPU). This was reported by the company's press service.
The development is a mobile transfer device with a hydraulic pump equipped with a pressure gauge.
A set of high and low pressure hoses with quick couplings is used for connection. It consists of a rail track, a frame and a lifting mechanism. Equipped with rollers for smooth horizontal movement along the rail track with the MCPU impeller.
The new device is necessary for installing the roller in the design position and moving the MCPU rotor. It will also be included in the "Set of keys and devices for installation and repair of the MCPU.
