The bogie is equipped with an asynchronous traction drive of domestic production. Solid-rolled wheels were used for its creation, and a single-tooth transmission was used. According to the developers, such technical solutions were used for the first time.

One of the new developments of the designers of «Ural Locomotives» — a brake shoe block — has been introduced into the bogie's brake system. This technical solution made it possible to reduce the number of moving parts in the brake lever transmission.

The first two samples are ready, they have been sent to the Lyudinovo Diesel Locomotive Plant. This enterprise is assembling the 2TE35A main diesel locomotive.

As a reminder, the 2TE30 diesel locomotive is planned to be used on non-electrified sections of the Baikal-Amur and Trans-Siberian railways. Its tests will begin in 2025.
