The icebreaker "Evpatiy Kolovrat", built according to the project of the OSK "Vympel" design bureau, has completed state tests and was transferred to the Pacific Fleet. The first icebreaker of Project 21180M was built by PJSC " shipbuilding firm "Almaz" in St. Petersburg. The vessel is designed for icebreaker support for the basing and deployment of fleet forces in ice conditions, independent piloting of ships and vessels, as well as extinguishing fires at emergency facilities. The icebreaker is designed for the class of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping and has an ice проходимость of 1 meter on the forward course and 0.64 meters on the reverse course.

The icebreaker "Evpatiy Kolovrat" was laid down at the Almaz shipyard in December 2018, and launched on November 20, 2020. The total displacement of the vessel is 4080 tons, the hull length is 82 meters, the width is 19 meters, and the draft is 4.6 meters. The icebreaker is capable of speeds up to 14 knots and has a cruising range of 7600 miles with an autonomy of 30 days. The ship's crew consists of 28 people. The tasks of "Evpatiy Kolovrat" will include the delivery of goods to remote garrisons, piloting warships in ice conditions, transporting teams and hydrographic work. The icebreaker will be based in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.

The state tests of the icebreaker lasted a long time, and only at the end of the second decade of June was the official confirmation of its transfer signed. The ceremony of raising the St. Andrew's flag has not yet taken place, but may take place in the near future or will be timed to coincide with the Day of the Navy, which is celebrated on July 28 this year.
