NPP Operation Support Systems TOREX Acquired an Import-Substituted Solution

The "Axioma" platform will replace the American IBM Maximo, on which the Russian information system for NPP operation support, TOREX, originally operated. This digital information system has been in operation at five pilot NPPs since October 2023: Balakovo, Beloyarsk, Kola, Rostov, and Smolensk.

When creating the "Axioma" platform, the developers took into account the experience and best practices of large Russian and international enterprises from many industries in the production sector. The similarity of the methodologies and architectures of "Axioma" and IBM Maximo, the inherited process model and logic will facilitate the transition for NPP users when launching TOREX on the "Axioma" platform.
Oleg Shalnov, Director of the IT Project Management and Integration Department of Rosenergoatom

"Axioma" is a software for managing production assets of any complexity, corporate property, maintenance and repairs (MRO), developed by Interprocom LLC. It is included in the register of the Ministry of Digital Development (Unified Register of Russian Programs for Electronic Computers and Databases - ed. note.).

The platform allows reducing the cost of ownership and operation of assets, extending their service life, reducing maintenance and repair costs, and simplifying registration and accounting. It easily works with domestic operating systems Astra Linux and RED OS, and also has certificates for technological compatibility with domestic databases Postgres Pro Standart 14, 15, 16 and Postgres Pro Enterprise 14, 15, 16.

Axioma is already used by a number of large domestic companies. In particular, RZDstroy, a subsidiary of RZD specializing in construction work, began transferring part of the automated control system blocks to this platform back in 2021.
