AvtoVAZ may launch sales of LADA Iskra in early spring. This opinion was expressed by the editor-in-chief of the magazine "Za Rulem" Maxim Kadakov. According to him, full-scale production of the car may start in January, while the auto giant continues to select component suppliers.
All versions will go into production at once – sedan, station wagon, cross-station wagon, with different engines and gearboxes.
The auto expert believes that the base version of the car will cost from 1 million 150 thousand rubles, and the maximum configuration will cost from 1.5 million rubles. The minimum configuration will include a five-speed manual transmission and a 1.6-liter engine with 90 horsepower. The top version is equipped with a 106-horsepower engine and automatic transmission.
Kadakov emphasized that these are recommended prices. It is not a fact at all that dealers will adhere to this pricing policy.
I hope they won't be too arrogant – and we will monitor it.
