Собрали из запчастей трофейной техники врага: российские инженеры показали установку для дистанционной стрельбы из пулемета

The weapon is equipped with a camera and night vision device

Specialists from the Russian Armed Forces' weapons repair unit have assembled a remote-controlled machine gun installation for firing from a large-caliber machine gun. They sourced the weapons, parts, and electronics for it, including from enemy trophy equipment, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense press service.

This system was invented so that the serviceman could fire not from the position, but sitting in a dugout, so that he could see what is happening in the firing sector. First there was one system, then it was modernized to make it more stable. And here is the result.

As noted in the press service of the defense department, the control of the mobile machine gun mount was wired to the operator. The serviceman can be up to 100 m away from the installation, which will not be jammed by enemy electronic warfare systems.

The large-caliber machine gun mounted on the stand is equipped with a camera with a night vision device. This will help servicemen perform tasks at any time of the day, the Russian Ministry of Defense concluded.
