Russian military personnel on the front lines have begun using the wheeled FPV drone "Scorpion-M." With its help, they detonate explosives at enemy positions and evacuate wounded soldiers.
The functionality of the wheeled FPV drone is greater than that of flying drones. It easily maneuvers in all types of terrain.
Due to the fact that it travels on the ground, it has a larger battery capacity. It can deliver ammunition to newly occupied or hard-to-reach positions, and bring food, water, or medicine.
The soldiers noted that the "Scorpion-M" can move at speeds of up to 12 km/h and deliver explosives to enemy positions weighing up to 40 kg. The battery life from the built-in power source is up to four hours. The parameters of the complex and the control range of up to 5,000 m allow for making passages in anti-personnel minefields.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that Russian military personnel on the front lines invented a device for remote firing from machine guns. The machine gun crew is able to control the fire remotely while being under cover.
