Auto bloggers discovered a preserved 412th «Moskvich» in Moscow. The car was bought back in Soviet times, in 1991, registered and driven into the garage. Since then, the car has not been used. The car's mileage is only 1343 kilometers.
The «Moskvich» was purchased in Izhevsk. It made its own way to Moscow without rear-view mirrors and wipers. These elements were attached to the car three decades later. The same applies to the car number.
The 412th is preserved in very good condition. The body, glass and interior after washing and dry cleaning look almost like new.
Despite good storage, some elements still had to be updated. Thus, the wheels and radiator grille were repainted. Corrosion damaged the exhaust system. They also took care of it. Before being sold to a private collection, the engine and cooling system were flushed, and the clutch and brakes were repaired. It is unknown for what amount the car was sold after restoration.
