В Ненецком автономном округе увеличат расстояние доставки грузов дронами до 250-500 км

Currently, the flight range does not exceed 120 km

In the Nenets Autonomous Okrug (NAO), it was decided to increase the cargo delivery distance to 250-500 km. This was announced by the head of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug (NAO), Yuri Bezdudny, at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).

Currently, the flight range for cargo delivery by drones does not exceed 120 km, but authorities plan to increase this figure.

We assume that flying from Naryan-Mar to the east, the farthest settlement is 500 km, and to the west - 500 km. Even if at the current stage it will be 250 km, it will suit us perfectly.
Yuri Bezdudny, Head of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug (NAO)

The head of the NAO also noted that company T1 (focused on container transportation) will increase the payload capacity of drones to 25 kg. Drones could become an alternative to road transport in the region, where there are practically no roads.

It is worth mentioning that the test flight was performed using a drone with a payload capacity of 5 kg. It followed the route Naryan-Mar — Andeg — Naryan-Mar. The drone flew at a speed of 110 km/h and covered the entire distance in 40 minutes.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that the Ikar group of companies presented a new SH-450 M helicopter-type UAV.
