A digital assistant has appeared in the "RZD Passengers" mobile application. It will share interesting information about stations and routes along the way with travelers. This was reported by the company's press service.
The project has been launched in pilot mode. Descriptions are available for the most popular routes, but their number is planned to be expanded.
Users can already find interesting information about roads and stations on the following routes: Moscow – St. Petersburg, Moscow – Yaroslavl, Moscow – Nizhny Novgorod, Bologoye – Yaroslavl – Kostroma, Nerekhta – Kovrov, Sortavala – Ruskeala Mountain Park, etc.
Here are a few examples of what the guide will tell you about:
- on what section you can see the Church of the Intercession on the Nerl, a white-stone pearl of architecture (Moscow-Nizhny Novgorod line)
- hear the legend of the "emperor's finger" (Moscow – St. Petersburg line)
- what connects the city of Alexandrov with Ivan the Terrible (Moscow-Yaroslavl line)
The guide can be opened either during the trip, on a special screen of the "On the Train" mobile application, or in advance, by clicking on the time icon until the train departs in your personal account. The service is available for smartphones on the Android platform.
All passengers with purchased long-distance train tickets can use the entertainment service.
Earlier www1.ru reported that RZD included the transportation of pets without accompaniment in the service.
