A "daughter" of NPP Izmeritel JSC, which is part of KRET, presented domestic protected airborne recorders for civil aviation at SPIEF. In other words, "black boxes" that are installed on civil aircraft and helicopters.
Airborne recorders must withstand enormous overloads, high temperatures, static pressure under water at a depth of several kilometers, and so on. All this should not affect the miniature microcircuit on which flight information is recorded. Today, along with serial production, Izmeritel is developing a new generation of protected emergency airborne recorders, including for domestic import-substituted civil aircraft.
The exhibit is part of the IKBO-IMA airborne registration and control system, which was developed as part of the Federal Target Program for the Development of Civil Aviation in Russia. It is the basis for a new line of modern protected airborne recorders for Russian civil aviation.
