The Russian company 3mx has created a comprehensive system to protect objects from drone attacks called "Tamerlan". It combines drone detection and suppression tools.
A prototype of the system has already begun testing at one of the oil depots. It includes detection stations, suppression, radar, camera and software for visualizing and registering threats.
To protect objects, we have developed the Tamerlan system, which combines our drone detection and suppression products, as well as partner equipment, into a single complex. The prototype is undergoing its baptism of fire at one of the oil depots.
The system's detector is capable of detecting a drone at a distance of up to three kilometers, and the radar - within a radius of 500 meters
If the drone is known, simple, commercial, then the detector will detect it, and the camera will accompany it until suppression or departure from the protected area. If the frequencies are rare, the radar will catch it on approach.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the Russian military is actively using the Tor-M2 anti-aircraft missile system to combat drones. It allows for a circular view and simultaneously track up to 48 targets. The SAM system detects an object in the air at 16 kilometers, when it is at an altitude of 100 meters to 10 kilometers.
