Unmanned truck slowed down in time

Sergey Kogogin, General Director of PJSC "KAMAZ", reached the St. Petersburg Economic Forum in a rather unusual way. The top manager drove along the M-11 Neva federal highway in a KAMAZ unmanned truck. But the journey was not without a minor incident that could have ended in an accident.

The unmanned truck, driven by Kogogin, was overtaking another truck, moving in the left lane. A Mercedes car was driving at a short distance behind it. After overtaking the truck, the unmanned KAMAZ began to move into the right lane, but at that moment the Mercedes driving behind it drove along it.

The first dangerous situation on the road, but the drone reacted clearly, slowing down in time.

Note that the unmanned truck automatically records traffic violations, and the driver of the car created an obstacle for KAMAZ. After all, he moved into the right lane at the moment when the unmanned truck had already shifted there.

Recall that the auto giant from Naberezhnye Chelny plans to increase the production of unmanned trucks by September 2024. Currently, six unmanned trucks are already running on the M-11 highway.
