The St. Petersburg Economic Forum has started. The electric Niva (LADA E-Niva) was shown at the forum. The technical characteristics of the AvtoVAZ prototype have become known.
The concept car has an engine with a nominal power of 60 kW. The maximum power is 120 kW, which is equivalent to 163 horsepower. The lithium-nickel batteries are located at the rear. Some are in the trunk, some are under the rear seats.
It will take 12 hours to fully charge the electric Niva if you plug it into a regular outlet. The total battery capacity is 34 kWh. The claimed range is not impressive – only 175 kilometers.
The car has a leather interior with original trim. In addition, the front bumper and headlights of the prototype differ from those installed on the gasoline Niva Travel. It is likely that the modernized Niva will have the same front end.
