The "Combat Center" design bureau presented a pilot version of the "Gribochek" anti-drone device at the "Integrated Security" exhibition at the Patriot Congress and Exhibition Center in Kubinka, Moscow region. The new product is designed to protect vehicles from UAV strikes. This was announced by a representative of the development bureau at the event.
According to one of the employees of the "Combat Center" design bureau, "Gribochek" is equipped with four interference emitters. The device covers frequencies from 400 to 6250 MHz in the 12-frequency radio frequency range. The device counteracts FPV drones at a distance of up to 250 meters.
The device was named "Gribochek" because of the characteristic shape of the interference emitters — each block of the device looks like a mycelium with four caps.
Currently, the prototype drone suppressor is undergoing testing. In the future, it is planned to be used to protect various types of transport, such as ambulances, fire trucks and volunteer vehicles, from unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) strikes.
