Для российских ракет «Ангара» готов 21 комплект узлов и агрегатов двигателя РД-191

Components are designed for different rockets of the family

Proton-PM, a subsidiary of NPO Energomash of the Roscosmos State Corporation, reported its participation in the creation of the Angara family of rockets. Contractual obligations to NPO Energomash amounted to 21 sets of components for the RD-191 engine for the Angara family of launch vehicles.

It is noted that the delivery set included a turbopump unit, booster pump units for oxidizer and fuel, filter and oxidizer valve, pipeline with injector, thermal protection and thermal insulation, special standards.

Key components of the RD-191 were mastered by Proton-PM during the Fakel, Angara, and Amur development works. The engine operates on fuel components new to the enterprise, which required the introduction of a number of additional technologies. The application of ceramic coatings, titanium casting, and processing of parts under oxygen have been mastered.
