Reshetnev Company has announced the development of its own AI technologist. The preparation of large technological databases for its programming is already underway.
The AI technologist will be used for the most complex satellite construction tasks, where human error can be detrimental. For example, it is planned to use it for calculating cutting modes during the machining of parts that are part of spacecraft.
Artificial intelligence will eliminate the influence of the human factor when working on the calculation part of the digital technological process. Specialists of JSC "RESHETNEV" intend to create a unified software product that mimics the mental activity of a process engineer when performing a production task. Currently, the satellite construction company is carrying out preparatory work for programming artificial intelligence, operating modes of metal-cutting machines and tools.
Earlier it became known that Reshetnev Company developed a new method of spacecraft orientation. The new orientation method will be used on spacecraft for the multi-satellite data transmission system "Marathon IoT", the first satellites of which will be launched into orbit by the end of the year. Work is underway to adapt this method for the "Gonets-M1" and "SKIF" spacecraft.
Also, to optimize and accelerate production, "RESHETNEV" this year began creating its own area for assembling and testing payload modules for the "Express-AMU4", "Express-RV", "Yamal-501", "Luch-5VM" and other communication satellites. For the same purpose, the satellite builders are opening their own waveguide production.
