A global failure has completely paralyzed CDEK. The logistics operator's website is still not working, and parcels are not being accepted or sent. At the same time, the company's press service promised to restore the service on May 29.
The operator's system failures began on May 26. The company promised that from May 27 they would return to sending and receiving parcels. Today, May 28, the company again assured that they would restore operations.
CDEK pickup points will resume issuing shipments no later than tomorrow, May 29. We are working on a full resumption of service, but we have also prepared backup schemes.
Experts believe that CDEK could have been attacked by ransomware. This threatens problems with data recovery. At the same time, a prolonged failure in the operation of order fulfillment points will entail reputational losses and customer outflow, the experts summarized.
Earlier www1.ru reported that CDEK has not been issuing parcels to Russians for more than a day.
