The Minsk Motorcycle and Bicycle Plant has taken a fresh look at the legendary Aist bicycle, which was produced in the USSR since the 80s of the XX century. A new model has been presented - with electric traction.
The electric Aist can accelerate up to 25 km/h. The range is 40 km. The production of electric bicycles is scheduled to begin in 2025, if there are no problems with certification tests.
Note that the products of the Minsk Motorcycle and Bicycle Plant are popular not only in Belarus, but also abroad. It is possible that the new electric bicycle model will find its customers in Russia as well.
