Residents of the Samara region filmed the test LADA Iskra on the streets — a new model from AvtoVAZ, which should replace the LADA Granta. The model is covered with camouflage film. Iskra was compared to the LADA Largus, which was parked nearby.
The test car LADA Iskra Sedan looks somehow tiny against the background of the Largus.
As a reminder, Iskra is built on the CMF-B LS platform from Renault-Nissan, which was localized after the French company left the Russian market. AvtoVAZ President Maxim Sokolov said that the car is 80% ready, and by the time mass production starts — AvtoVAZ promises its start at the beginning of next year — dozens of components will be localized.
Sokolov expressed hope that fans of the LADA brand will like the car. The top manager drove the car on the test site and was satisfied.
