In the near future, AvtoVAZ may begin assembling LADA Vesta cars six days a week. This is due to increased demand, according to insiders.
The plant came up with these plans after conclusions from the marketing department, which indicated an increase in demand for AvtoVAZ's flagship family.
The final decision has not yet been made. A significant contribution to it should be made by the procurement department. Its specialists will be working on the possibility of providing the assembly line with components for its operation on Saturday.
It should be noted that from January to April, 137,114 new LADA cars were sold, which is 49.2% higher than the same indicators last year. Russians are not even embarrassed by the fact that prices for AvtoVAZ products have increased.
The most popular model remains LADA Granta. This is the cheapest car in the auto giant's production line. In April, 21,429 such cars were sold.
LADA Vesta is in second place in terms of popularity; in April, 13,459 cars found their owners, and in March, 11,703 such cars were sold.
