The tactical exercise was planned

Combat crews of the "Bal" coastal anti-ship missile systems (BRK) of the Baltic Fleet conducted a tactical exercise to launch a missile strike on the ships of a mock enemy. The planned firing took place at a training ground in the Kaliningrad region.

The press service of the Baltic Fleet noted that the military personnel practiced ways of placing equipment in various positions, and also completed tasks for deploying and using weapons. The maneuvers involved 50 missilemen and more than 10 units of equipment.

  • rapid change of position and readiness to use weapons
  • engages targets at a distance of up to 120 km
  • operates in any weather
  • launchers can be placed in hidden positions at a distance of up to 10 km from the coast
