Госсектор и промышленность оказались под ударом: хакеры стали быстрее взламывать IT-инфраструктуру

Informzaschita: Resource hacking speed increased by 30% in 2024

The speed at which hackers break into the IT infrastructure of Russian companies increased by 30% in 2024 compared to 2023, according to analysts at Informzaschita. According to their estimates, in some cases, attackers gain access to resources in a matter of hours.

This concerns both large organizations with serious protection measures and the public sector and industry. Since the beginning of 2024, the latter has surpassed even the financial sector in terms of the number of attacks.

In addition to the speed of the attack, the speed at which attackers gain a foothold in the infrastructure has increased.
Anatoly Peskovsky, expert at Informzaschita

TeDo agreed with Informzaschita's estimates. The company explained that the speed of hacking has increased, among other things, due to the availability of tools for cyberattacks on illegal platforms. For example, there are many malicious programs sold on the darknet that automate the search for IT infrastructure vulnerabilities.

The increase in the number of attacks is explained by the hasty transition of Russian business, the public sector and industry to domestic IT solutions. In addition, unfriendly countries have begun pouring money into hacker groups to attack certain companies, the experts concluded.
