The National Agency of Industrial Information (NAPI) monitored the cost of summer and winter tires in April. It turned out that tires became cheaper.
In March, on average, summer tires cost 10.3 thousand rubles, in April prices decreased by 4.6% and amounted to 9.9 thousand rubles. Winter tires for the same period became cheaper by 0.7%. We are talking about non-premium winter tires.
Note that in April, a tire factory in Kaluga began producing tires under the Gislaved brand. The company is part of the S8 Capital holding, which unites several tire companies in Russia. It is possible that the decrease in the cost of summer tires is associated with the restart of this enterprise.
