Russian IT equipment manufacturer Yadro has presented its own operating system for Kvadra mobile devices. A unified ecosystem of services and products will be created based on kvadraOS.
KvadraOS is designed for mobile devices of the Kvadra brand, the first model of which was the 10.95-inch Kvadra_T tablet, which was introduced back in 2023. In April, it went on sale, the cost of the device is 41,990 rubles.
We have already started creating an ecosystem of services. This is not just a set of hardware and software products, we strive to offer users additional comfort in interacting with digital devices in everyday life.
Cherkasov noted that the company has a goal to occupy up to 15% of the mid-price segment tablet market in Russia, which will be a good result for Yadro. According to him, the production site in Dubna is capable of producing up to a million such devices per year.
The kvadraOS operating system is written on the basis of the Android Open Source Project and includes both reworked Open Source solutions and components of its own development. Applications for kvadraOS can be downloaded from the domestic online store RuStore.
