The docking of "Progress MS-27" to the ISS is scheduled for June 1, its launch will take place at the end of May

It became known when the Progress MS-27 space truck will depart from Baikonur to the ISS, the latest checks of which are underway before final assembly. The launch is scheduled for May 30, and docking with the ISS should take place on June 1.

According to IA "TASS", referring to the management of the space nutrition department of the Research Institute of Food Concentrate Industry and Special Food Technology, the Progress MS-27 will deliver fresh fruits and vegetables to the cosmonauts: apples, grapefruits, oranges and onions. The space diet will also be replenished with new fruit, fish and Michurin vegetable preserves, oatmeal, jams, natural coffee and chicory, tea drinks, dried venison, honey, chocolate, beef and condensed milk.

In addition to other cargo, parcels of 4-4.5 kg will be brought to the cosmonauts – this was reported by the psychological support service of the Russian ISS crew.

Especially for the anniversary of the commander of the Roscosmos cosmonaut corps, Oleg Kononenko, exclusive sweets will be sent — handmade chocolate. In addition, standard psychological support kits for the Russian crew, which include various food products — sweets and so on, will be sent on the Progress MS-27.

Oleg Kononenko will celebrate his 60th birthday in space on June 21. He is the world record holder for the number of total hours spent in space: this is more than 900 days. It is expected that after the completion of the expedition in September 2024, the total flight time of the cosmonaut will be 1,110 days, making him the first person in the world to have spent so long in space.
