Ростех показал Су-57 в ливрее истребителя Ла-7 лётчика Кожедуба

His awards are reflected on board the combat vehicle

The historical livery for the Su-57 aircraft was presented by the Rostec State Corporation for Victory Day. This is a replica of the camouflage of the La-7 fighter with tail number 27, which was flown by the legendary pilot Ivan Kozhedub. His combat awards are reflected on board the aircraft.

Three times Hero of the Soviet Union, Ivan Kozhedub flew 330 sorties and personally shot down 62 German aircraft – more than any other pilot in the anti-Hitler coalition. In the new camouflage for the Su-57, we have embodied the image of the legendary machine from the times of the Great Patriotic War
Oleg Yevtushenko, Executive Director of Rostec State Corporation

Ivan Kozhedub is the most successful fighter pilot in the Allied aviation. He participated in the Battle of Kursk and the Battle of Berlin, and after the Great Patriotic War – in the Korean War. He passed away in 1991 at the age of 71.

The La-7 could climb to a height of 6000 meters and developed a speed of 680 km/h. The fighter flown by Kozhedub can be seen in the Central Museum of the Air Force of the Russian Federation in Monino.

Earlier, www1.ru wrote that the only surviving I-16 fighter took part in the Victory Parade in Novosibirsk. The combat vehicle from the times of the Great Patriotic War was restored for the solemn event.
