German journalists believe that Russia has coped with aviation sanctions

The European Union authorities banned the supply of spare parts to Russia for foreign aircraft. However, the key aviation sanctions did not work, as the volume of civil transportation in the Russian Federation increased. This was written by the German newspaper Die Welt.

Journalists pointed out that Russian airlines continue to operate and maintain foreign passenger aircraft. In 2022, when the ban was introduced, they were indeed idle, but now Russia has found a way out. In 2023, the number of flights increased by 20 thousand, to 1.28 million.
