Russian developers from the company «Rusdronoport» have created a droneport for cars. It consists of a landing table, roof, and mast with communication antennas. It can be used at temperatures from -20 to +55 degrees.
The device, called «Eri Auto», can be equipped with a Geoscan 801 or Geoscan Gemini drone. It cannot be controlled from the car. The creation and start of the mission is carried out by the operator. After that, the station autonomously prepares the drone for departure. It can be observed and controlled remotely via special software.
It is worth noting that the engineers from «Rusdronoport» position themselves as the creators of the first autonomous infrastructure for drones in Russia. In addition to solutions for cars, they have developed a mini-station for charging drones, a post office for autonomous unloading and loading of parcels, focused on the use of drones, and an automated station for replacing drone batteries.
