Уральская «Мультиклет» просит у российского правительства 20 млрд рублей на завод

In return, they promise to produce high-tech RISC-V processors

In Yekaterinburg, the company "Multiclet" has developed a domestic high-tech multicell architecture for processors, which will increase their survivability and technical characteristics. But it does not have the funds to launch production — 20 billion rubles are required.

According to Boris Zyryanov, CEO of the company, speaking to «66.ru», production will be established in two years and will be able to cover the needs of the entire Russia in highly reliable processors, replacing gray imports. This is important for the development of the Arctic, space, and the development of oil and gas fields in the North.

We are developing a completely new technology. Since we will have two architectures in the country — "Elbrus" and RISC-V — we decided to make a RISC-V processor. It will be a very powerful processor, it will meet the needs of almost all industrial enterprises. Both in terms of power and energy consumption.
Boris Zyryanov, CEO of "Multiclet"

For financial support to launch the microelectronics factory, "Multiclet" appealed to the government and the Ministry of Investment of Russia. But so far, it has not received a positive or negative response regarding support with rubles. The Ural residents consider the amount of billions of rubles for their work on creating and launching the enterprise to be normal, since there are no such industries in Russia yet.
