The Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS) has prepared a program for studying the Moon until 2050.
Despite the fact that we had a failure with Luna-25, we are still doing the lunar program. We came up with a proposal to ensure that it does not end. Now a program is being formed until 2035. We say that this is not enough. We have prepared a program until 2050, because these are the deadlines that should be.
Last year, a lunar roadmap was presented. According to its data, the sending of astronauts to the Earth's satellite may take place between 2031 and 2040.
According to Academician of the RAS Vladimir Solovyov, Russia plans to deploy a lunar base from 2041 to 2050. Scientists are also considering the possibility of extracting water and oxygen on the Moon using technologies for processing production from local products.
After 2050, the RAS plans to further explore space. The starting point for expeditions will be the Moon with complexes for the production and storage of fuel components.
