We are considering their proposal, but nevertheless, 2028 is definitely within the timeframe
"Luna-26" will determine the landing site for "Luna-27". Its launch is scheduled for 2027. According to Borisov, the crash of "Luna-25" upset the staff of NPO Lavochkin. He advised employees not to worry, but to work hard.
The "Luna-25" was supposed to be delivered to the Earth's satellite by the "Soyuz-2.1b" carrier rocket. The rocket launched from Vostochny on August 11. The Mission Control Center lost contact with "Luna-25" before landing. Later it turned out that the device crashed into the surface of the planet.
