Roskomnadzor has blocked about 150 VPN services. This was announced at the Safe Internet Forum by Evgeny Zaitsev, Head of the Department of Control and Supervision in the Field of Electronic Communications of Roskomnadzor.

According to him, the authorities are also restricting access to materials that describe how to circumvent blocking. A total of 700 texts about VPNs were blocked. Note that, in order to restrict access to such information, a court decision is not required since March 1.
VPN technology allows you to provide one or more network connections over someone else's network. Services are actively used to access blocked information.
Industry experts note that the main danger of VPN is the high risk of data leakage, since circumvention services, especially free ones, do not ensure the confidentiality and security of user data.
